Iranian Lithium Mineral Industrial Co (Lithiran)

Our Mission

Recent advancements in electronics and electro-mechanics, driven by the growing global emphasis on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, are expected to increase the demand for key elements like lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese, carbon, and others used in electric vehicle batteries. This shift in demand is expected to reshape the global mineral commodity market. In line with this trend, at Maad Kansar Mining Holding, we plan to focus on exploring, extracting, and processing lithium and other essential elements, aiming to diversify our presence in the mining and mineral industries. This aligns with our goal of becoming a primary supplier of raw materials for electric vehicle batteries and advanced electronics. Notably, we have secured the first nationallevel lithium discovery certificate in Hamedan Province. We recognize the worldwide focus on diminishing greenhouse gas emissions, and thus, we intend to play a part in this transition by concentrating on the exploration, extraction, and processing of the necessary elements essential for this transformation. This commitment aligns with our sustainability goals by promoting cleaner transportation solutions.

Objectives

  • Preparing and compiling operation plan of Qahavand lithium mine, Hamedan Province, Iran.
  • Preparing and compiling of comprehensive lithium supply chain program in Iran.
  • Identification and evaluation of brine basins, pegmatitic rock units and unconventional resources of lithium in Iran.
  • Acquiring know-how and technology development of lithium compound beneficiation from clay recourses in Iran.
  • Reconnaissance, prospecting and detail exploration of some special metals, e.g. Ni, Co, and REEs and etc. which used in Li-ion battery industry.
  • Technology development in mineral processing of special elements on lab-scale and pilot-scale.
